  • The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District serves a population of over 745,000 in a 359-square-mile service area, and Metro Fire is the seventh-largest fire agency in the state of California. With such a large department, Metro Fire uses Workforce TeleStaff to fill at least 30 vacancies per day and up to 60 during fire season or holidays. In this session, see the 10-day staffing process that uses Workforce TeleStaff to incorporate vacation protection rules, fatigue rules, roster counts, and preferences to fill multiple vacancies using fill-by rules, outbound, auto accept, and all-call notifications.
