Melanie is part of the team that deployed the Kronos Workforce Scheduler across Ascension’s acute care hospitals. This included 102 hospitals, 1,624 departments and 52,427 associates.

Ascension’s Healthcare Division operates more than 2,600 sites of care – including 151 hospitals and more than 50 senior living facilities – in 22 states.
Melanie joined Ascension Texas-Seton in January 2007 to build and open the new Seton Medical Center Williamson/Level II Trauma Center. Melanie became COO/CNO of Seton Medical Center-Williamson in 2012 and 2014 transitioned to Regional CNO for the group of three hospitals. Additionally, Melanie served as the nursing executive leader for Emergency Services and Clinical Informatics specialty for the Seton Family of Hospitals.
Melanie came from Memorial Hermann, in Houston, Texas, where she was an AVP of Patient Care and CNO for Memorial Hermann Northwest Medical Center. Melanie spent 29 years at Memorial Hermann in various staff, education and leadership roles including Director of Cardiovascular Critical Care, Emergency Services, Clinical Director of Information Systems and CNO.
